Stripping Paint off of Metal Miniatures
When the game of Mordheim first came out, my friends and I really wanted to play the game, and really didn’t want to paint the miniatures. So as you can imagine, I have a nice collection of horribly painted miniatures. Probably the worst part about my old miniatures’ paint jobs is how thick the paint was ladled on. The paint was so thick in some places you couldn’t see the details of the miniature/model.
So I decided to strip the paint off of these miniatures. I’m going to start with my metal minis:

Mordheim Miniature Basing Tutorial
I am in the process of making 5 more Orcs for my Mordheim Orcs and Goblins Warband, and I figured I might as well share with you how I’ve been basing my Mordheim Miniatures. I’ve put together this very basic tutorial to create a very simple and effective base for your table-top miniatures.

Mordheim Warband
When I first started playing with Orcs and Goblins, my brother put together a ridiculous warband with a bunch of goblin fanatics and a troll, etc. I picked up the rulebook the other day, and put together a couple sample warbands.
To Troll or not to Troll?
This is definitely a difficult question, since Trolls are so bad-ass. Read the Rest of the Post >

Mordheim Image
I was on the Mordheim Wikipedia Page, and noticed someone added an “okay” image of Mordheim on there, so I decided to create a better one. I had a small photo shoot (with every good Mordheim model and terrain piece I had), and this was the result:

Mordheim Elevation Platform – Completed
Here is my completed piece of elevation. I am looking at making a board out of Pink (insulation) Foam, so decided to test the foam with a simple piece of platform terrain. The idea was to create a very playable terrain piece that was very versatile, and add elevation to a Mordheim board (as Mordheim normally lacks enough elevation IMO). (You can see the Mordheim Platform WIP Thread Here.
The platform is tall enough to Read the Rest of the Post >

Mordheim Terrain Elevation
I am just about done modeling this piece of terrain out of pink foam. As I’m uploading these pictures I realize a couple more things I want to do to the “destroyed” corner of the clearing.
I’m very pleased with how this piece of Mordheim Terrain is coming out. It is a very playable piece of terrain, as you can enter and exit easily from each corner. I have painted the entire thing black, so I brought it outside for some daylight. Enjoy the pics:

Skaven Miniature Painted
Here is my third Mordheim model/miniature. Since I’ve already done two Mordheim Orc Miniatures, I decided to do a Skaven miniature. I found a mini that I had glued together seven years ago, and went at it. I gave it a good black base paint. Kind of like the orange theme I gave to my orcs, my Skaven is going to be Blue. I’m getting much better at painting, but I screwed up the Skaven’s hands pretty good. It’ll get better with practice. Anyway, here you go. Let me know what you think:

First Piece of Mordheim Elevation
I acquired a small piece of pink foam from a neighbor, and decided to try out some techniques with it before I buy a 4×8 sheet to create my board with. For this small project, I decided to just create a simple and playable Mordheim LOS (Line Of Sight) Blocker. This can be used as elevation for a building or leave empty to have a small elevated clearing.
All etchings on this piece were done with a pen, and every pen line you see is a small indentation into the foam.
