Mordheim Animosity Counters
Orcs and Goblins in the game of Mordheim (as well as Warhammer) love to fight so much that they can easily get in a fight with each other in the middle of a game. In Mordheim, this is called Animosity. Any orc or goblin henchman afflicted by animosity for a round can not do anything else for that round. Sometimes it is hard to remember which angry orc or goblin can’t do anything for the rest of the turn, so I created these counters to help me remember.
As you can see there are five animosity markers. Four of them are Orc/Goblin shields with Orc/Goblin weapons sticking out of them. There were all created from Games Workshop Orc/Goblin bits. I just cut off the tip of the weapon and glued it to the face of the shield.
The fifth (and personal favorite) animosity marker is a poor Goblin who got shoved face first into a garbage can. You can see his short legs and feet sticking out of the garbage can. The garbage can was made from one of the bullet holders I had mentioned earlier.
I spent a couple hours practicing some painting/highlighting techniques on these weapons and shields. I even did a little bit of non-metalic-metal painting. I didn’t have enough time to do a fully test out some ideas I have for painting, but I learned a lot with these.
