Mordheim Terrain Platform – Completed

Completed Projects,Elevation,Terrain
Author: Ashton Sanders

I have now completed my second Mordheim Terrain Platform/Elevation!

Mordheim Terrain Platform

This terrain was created almost completely with a small section of pink foam. Other smaller things I used include kitty litter and sand to act as Rubble and small wooden knobs for decorations on top of the pillars that have not been destroyed.

The purpose for this Mordheim Terrain is to create more elevation for my board, as that is something that most Mordheim Boards are lacking. Here are some views from the side:

I drybrushed the cement with 5 layers of increasingly lighter layers of grey. I used some grey-brown to color some dirt that has collected in the rubble around the Mordheim platform.

And here is a great picture demonstrating why I don’t mindlessly add bases to my buildings:

This is my second terrain piece I’ve made out of pink foam. (See my first Mordheim Platform.) Here’s a picture comparing the sizes of the two terrain pieces:

This was an entry in the Companion Piece Competition on Terragenesis, and the voting started today (using the new voting system programmed by Andy). I will post again when the Winner is announced in seven days.

Until Then,

I build a lot of foam scenery, so I can say with some confidence that this is a really well done piece. Hat’s off to you.

    Thanks Theomar.

I’m honored and humbled to receive your comment. I’ve seen your Temple of Time, and can only stare in amazement. Your Dungeon (and anything you touch it seems) is also fabulous. I could die happy with an photo album with that many masterpieces in it.

    Thanks again for the comment,
    See you around,
